Hey, we’re so glad you’re ready to take your next step! Listed below are a few options. If you don’t see one that works for you, contact Scott at swhaley@thecrossingonline.com and I’ll help you figure out the right next step for you!
NEXT STEPS IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
Talk to a Pastor about your relationship with God
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” The only way to have a relationship with God and the promise of eternal life is by faith in Jesus Christ. If you would like a pastor to contact you to talk about this important next step, contact Jeff at jclong@thecrossingonline.com.
Baptism
If you are a follower of Christ, baptism is the next step for you. Baptism illustrates the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and identifies the believer with him. This is an important way to symbolize your commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. Baptisms are generally done on the 3rd Sunday of the month. NEXT STEPS IN GETTING CONNECTED AT THE CROSSING
Starting Point
This class will help you discover who we are, what we believe, and how you can get connected. This 70 minute class is offered the first Sunday of each month during the 10:00 AM service (10:00 - 11:20). Childcare is provided in our Children’s Ministry. To register for the next class, click here.
HomeGroups
HomeGroups consist of people who regularly gather together to experience community and spiritual growth. As the name implies, most of these groups meet in homes, but others meet in coffee shops, bookstores, clubhouses, or restaurants. HomeGroups meet all over the Las Vegas Valley and on all days of the week. For help with finding a group or starting a group of your own, email ibustios@thecrossingonline.com.
Serving Teams
Serving teams are small teams of volunteers who help support the mission of The Crossing by using their gifts, abilities and passions to serve in the church and the community. Some examples of serving teams would be: children’s workers, camera and video crews, ushers, youth workers and homeless care teams. There are many different places and ways to serve.
